Fran's Story
I do have great memories of Mclean, being mischievous, skipping class on Earth Day and being caught by Mr.Kennedy...Driving a loaner Caddilac car with lady legs painted on it and the word Bobby written across the front fender. Jardy, my sister would hide in the blue Caddilac, or stoop so low on the front seat so no one could see she was riding in it. I was just happy to have the loaner car. Anybody remember it, I think it was a '63? Driving, 4x4 in the Pits, across from Tyson's Corner. My horse "Joker" getting lose in our neighborhood and being arrested, well technically he was hauled away to a stable.
My Algebra teacher that teased me to no end. (anyone remember his name? He was married to Ms. Broyhill? He drove a vet, he also seemed a bit conceited. Mclean football games... Today-Now...I am still a Red Skins fan (Even when they are crappy.) and I aways have faith that they will improve.
Of course I am for the Wizards and the Capitols...I prefer all of my sports games live. Enjoy community service work. Like meeting new people, dogs, travel, the water, horseback riding, water skiing, snow skiing, scuba diving speaking in Spanish and Portuguese.
But still wish I could speak more languages...I can pick up some Italian, but that is because it is a latin language, too.
I am living in a small town outside of DC, with my husband, Dave who also went to Mclean. The dolphins have actually reached our back yard. Sometimes we will go out and follow them, watching them fish and play.
The fishman in our area usually aren't happy when they appear since this means the dolphins are eating their catch. FB is easier to use so try to catch me there under my name: Fran Sanchez Chiles.
