Frances's Story
Life
I'm the proud mom of two sons. My oldest graduated from Norwich University is a Naval officer. He is married and is currently stationed overseas. My youngest son died in a snowmobile accident in January 2004. He had been studying to be an emergency room nurse.
After a tumultuous 2004, I left New Hampshire. I have settled on Cape Cod (where I always wanted to live) and am a math professor at Mass. Maritime Academy. It's been a wonderful change.
For fun, I've been traveling...Expand for more
to places that are a bit off the beaten path. (What, doesn't everyone vacation in Honduras or El Salvador?)
Workplace
I was a math professor at Notre Dame College in Manchester until it closed in 2002. After that I spent two years teaching Statistics and Calculus at Merrimack Valley High School in Penacook. I completed my Ed.D. while at MVHS and am now in my tenth year as a math professor at Mass. Maritime Academy. I love it here. And living on Cape Cod is pretty awesome, too.
