Francie's Story

Life I have two very beautiful children. My daughter is now 13 years old, an official teenager now, & lives with me. My son will be 12 years old in Sept. School At Armijo HS in Fairfield, CA for 9&10th grade I was involved with the FilAm, AFS, and Drama Clubs. Then we moved to Hawaii and I graduated from Kalaheo HS in Kailua, HI. I was involved with S.A.D.D., the prom committee, and also had auditioned for "Music Man" and "Fiddler On The Roof", the Ron Bright production plays at the time. College After high school I went to Windward Community College in Kaneohe, HI. I was involved with tutoring on campus and the Hawaiian Civic Club, KuPono which I served as Treasurer. Every so often I try to stay in touch & involved with the progress of the Lo`i on campus. It took me five years but I got my two year Associate in Arts degree! k to college again to go for my Bachelors possibly in Business Administration or an IT field. For starters, in 2005, I took courses through New Horizons Computer Learning Center Hawaii for A Certifications with the intent to continue on for an MCSE with Security . Workplace I've worked too many temp positions and not enough long-term permanent positions which has left me a little bitter in todays workforce.. much like my personal life !! Military I joined the US Naval Reserves in August 2001 making me a third generation "sailor" in my family! My EOS is coming up - Aug 1, 2009. I had wanted to keep my options open about staying in long enough to retire but I've already told my significant other that I've decided to not re-enlist. I am presently a CS3 drilling with a Seabee unit at Pearl Harbor Naval Station. I am the Admin Assistant and Webmaster for my unit.
