College
My freshman spent a year at The University of Dallas thought me many things.
1. There are no such things as snipes.
2. How to jog 2 miles and stager back.
3. How to firmly hold a beer in one hand and smoke with the other, while playing "Hacky Sac"
4. Fifty kegs of beer is not a good reason to spend all night in the rain to look for a stupid groundhog.
Military
I was never in the military services. However, I grew up with an Air Force father and was tough...Expand for more
t the respect for our country, our flag, our commander-in-chief, and our solders. There is nothing like waking up to the sound of B-52's taking off in the mourning, or the sound of a sonic boom over the white sands.
I must also say that I always kept my selective service registration updated. When I moved from Dallas to Oklahoma City, they sent me a letter thanking me for the years of registration, however due to my age I was no longer required to update my mailing address.
