Frank B.'s Story

Life New page... Upgrading to WIN7 on all but my main in the 5th wheel, *SIGH* still partial to XP myself. Still doing route 1 after all these years, probably wont change till retirement. The factory navigator in the truck finally quit. Replaced it with a Kenwood flip out, pretty neat unit, got rid of a lot of clutter in the cab because it does almost everything by its self that I had a bunch of other components doing. Speaking of things in the truck, I have APRS (automatic position reporting system) in the truck (and for that matter in all my vehicles). findu.com is the website and N7TIE-14 is the callsign/designator for the truck find me anytime...lol Finally getting my website going, still working on it and will post URL when I get it up enough to be useable. (no peeking) Finally posted on facebook, I had to do it because I was signing up to win an ipad from Rush, now I have found the game Kindoms of Camelot there. Pretty cool and made lots of friends all over the world. (who knew?) Cats are huge, and still lovable. Not lap cats like all my others, but will lay beside me on the couch and get petted. First cats that dont seem to like to be in a lap I have ever had. 19 years now at Pierce Transit, only 6 to go to retirement... maybe I'll live that long maybe not. You never get a second chance to make a first impression... No matter where you go, there you are.... Things are more like they are today than they have ever been before.... Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt... Warfarin forever! That will do for now stay tuned, same batchannel for the next installment. Matters not what comes between. Through my rose colored glasses, You'll forever be sixteen. Probably never get an answer to that one.... *SIGH* I've been told there are internet apology sites, maybe that would help. 40 Year Reunion Well it was an exciting experience, I stood near the door trying to guess the names before name tags were issued. I got about 1 out of 100 correct. I knew Becky, Sherry and Joeseph, but they had their tags on already. I got Joe Geutline correct, he looks just as I remember him from "Bachelor Survival Class", but that was it. Sorry to all the others whom I guessed incorrectly. Sad to see all of the Pirates who were gone but not forgotten. So many so soon. All in all a fun time, looking forward to the next one whenever it is. COH Anybody else on COH out there? My main is "Spine Snake" on Liberty, my global is "Polixines", drop me a note. (They wont let me put the "at" symbol in front of Polixines....lol) Military What I really liked most was the flying. I enjoyed being a helicopter pilot and instructor. Flying is the second best thing in life. I miss the Cobras most. The other A/C were fun but the Cobras were orgasmic. First Crush Lacked the maturity, experience, and social skills to make a good impression. She didnt take to me at all, and probably hates me to this day. I still think of her regularly and wish her the very best in life. Maybe some day she will let me apoligize to her.... never know. My one do over? (see first crush above) LOL My oldest friend? Sherry Kirk, we met when we were 5. First friend I made in Colorado. We still visit when I go to Denver, and I take her and her mother out to dinner every year. Amazing how long it's been.
