Frank's Story
Life
I was born in a hospital in Sacramento while my family lived in Lincoln. When I was 5, we moved to Loomis where I went through the schools there (LUGS [Loomis Union Grammar School], Placer Elementary, Del Oro High School and Sierra College). I then went to Cal Poly-SLO and got my degree in Engineering Technology-Electronics. I started with Sperry Univac on the RTS project in 1977 and went to Thule, Greenland. I returned to Sunnyvale and got married and bought a house in Milpitas. We had three children born at El Camino Hospital. I switched from maintaining hardware to diagnostic programming (including MAPPER). ut of the PC Manufacturing business, I moved back to my hometown (Loomis). I worked part time for an ISP (Internet Service Provider)- VFR (Visual Flight Rules) and then got a job with Transamerica Intellitech. It was bought out by First American Real Estate Solutions and I lost my job in December 2001. My Mom sold the place we grew up on and moved next door to me (near the High School). I went back to work for VFR and was looking for a job in MS SQL Database Administration (most of that work is now outsourced to India). I then worked a seasonal job with GAP Inc. Direct (a call center for GAP Clothing). I started working for Future Ford (Roseville Auto Mall) in June 2004. My son is going to school at UC Irvine and my daughter is going to school at Cal State Northridge. In 2005, I started working for USPS (United States Postal Service) in West Sacramento. I worked there for 10 years and then retired.
