Frank's Story
Graduated from Catholic University and began working as a Reliability Assurance Engineer. Hated it. So I joined up with the Microwave Systems group and got involved with Electronic Countermeasures for the Navy. Had a great set of mentors to learn from. Designed a lot of really great equipment ranging from agile frequency synthesizers to IFM equipment all having to do with airborne radar and IFF. Decided airplanes were passe and ended up getting into ASW countermeasures...again for the Navy. I got kicked out of the Naval Academy but ended up working many years a contractor for them...who would've thunk a simple little Guam boy would get involved with all this crazy leading edge stuff...anyways. th shipboard rack systems and ended up systems engineering some pretty slick stuff...developed some crazy systems some of which has done some pretty incredible things..Tactical..T...hawk was the last major system before my life went dark in the late 90s Now all I do I can never even tell my family about...but believe you me..this Guam kid is leaving a mark for our boys in uniform to follow...I do miss Guam and the friends I grew up with...you know who you are...I miss you guys. I'm still married to my girlfriend from the 70s...Anybody remember Marlene Camacho? At least I have her to keep my Guam memories alive...oh by the way-we have 5 beautiful daughters all of which have done us proud. what more could I ever ask for...
