John's Story

Life Wow the days of the internet and cell phones. Who would have thought this 25 years ago in the day of CB radio.. Just posting and looking to hear from old friends from when days seem so much simplier and easy. I still pass the school on occassions, it looks old. Now I hear they built a second Sachem high school out east. I am still on long island living in the smithtown area. Alot has changed in over 30 years. WELL, I went on to college and received a degree in criminal justice. Became a police Lieutenant with the NYPD and retired after 20 years in 2005. Also an FBI academy gradaute, so you could say I love ...Expand for more
the law enforcement field. I am now doing legal work for a large company based out of Washington D.C. and considering a move out of state to Florida. I have no children but love dogs and had 2 labs. Recently, lost Lexy the love of my life. Developed a passion for running and run 5 and 10k events most weekends. Also have done over 75 races and 12 triathlons. Recently did a half ironman and training for upcoming ironman in Lake Placid. Made some REAL awesome friends through the running associations I am affiliated with. Swim, bike, run is my passion. Also my Cervelo P2 which just completed a 120 mile ride on.
