frank's Story
I did not graduate from Pen Hi. But I would of been in the class of 1960.I do have over 3 years of college.Retired from the U.S.Army in 1980. Married the woman of my dreams in 1974. Since I retired from the Army, I',ve panned for gold in canada, worked as a cattle ranch hand , and logged cedar also in Canada. was a machinest for some years in Washington,and Oregon. And a U.S Postal clerk. I even delivered Ryder , and Sears moving vans in the western united states. Never did find the work I really liked except when I raised over 1 thousand fryer rabbits for different meat processors,but not much of a profit there. hool was closed and we were all transfered to Harbor Heights. My friends were Doc and Jeff Thompson, Gary Gemel,Gordon Severtson (cousin),.6th-8th grades were spent at Intermediate In Gig Harbor. I was called Elvis then. Never liked school but I liked challenging Ardith Hedman in math.She had one hell of a good brain. Friends of mine added were Mike ,and Bill Leggassy,George Davis,David Anderson, and Myron Gunderson. Only spent 1 year at Peninsula Hi. Added friends there was Darrell Wahlmacher,and Glenn Newberry. I then transfered to Sedro Woolley Hi. In Sedro Woolley, Washington. I now live in Vancouver Wa. I also have 8 acres east of Woodland Wa.with over a 100 fruit trees, timber, and creek, with a fantastic vie.
