Franklin's Story
Life
I spent just over 3.5 years in the Navy, 3.5 years at UW (two years as a cop in Lynnwood during school) and then the last 3 years in the Marine Corps. I just finished jet training in Meridian, MS and will be flying the F/A-18 Hornet at MCAS Miramar (San Diego) this summer. Got married after college/one kid on the way. Lifes good.

Graduated UW with a Law, Society and Justice degree(BA)-Winter 2002.
Military
Enlisted in the Navy...Expand for more
in June 1995 and got out as a FC2 in October 1998. Started UW on an NROTC scholarship where I switched to the Marine Corps my junior year. Went to OCS the summer of 2001. I was commissioned March 15 2002 and reported to The Basic School. Completed TBS in December and reported to flight training in January of 2003. I selected jets in September of 2003 and I was winged in May of 2005. I've got orders to VMFAT-101 in San Diego to fly FA-18 Hornets.
