MY POEM
LOVE
Love is an action verb that is said more than done,
but instead of saying I love you and you love me,
we say forget that it's just for fun.
We are supposed to do it unconditionally,
but yet we don't do it regularly,
even though it does take Psychotherapy to realize,
the application of our reverberation,
in our intoxocation of love.
It does not matter that the fact of the slack we have come upon is unreal,
neither is it how I feel,
or what's the deal,
that gives the steal,
on this pill,
that can kill,
called love.
So I come to as a poet,
who flows it on paper,
like water vapor,
to let you know,
that I can show,
you this new relaxing thing,
that if done long enough,
will have women wearing rings,
on their fingers,
as they linger,
off of my potion,
that make a couple like skin and lotion,
as they meditate with devotion,
on this word I call LOVE.
