Gail's Story
abridged version:
moved away from home after graduation.
started college
moved to Maine finished my BA
worked full time/went to night school
danced with local dance company
earned an Associates
married had two sons
divorced
raised the boys in Maine
continued to dance with company and local theatre group
earned another Associates
worked in Guatemala for 3 months
lived/worked in Ireland (my home away from home)
moved back to Maine
earned a certificate
met my husband, moved to Canada
lived in Canada for 6 years
moved back to Maine 8 months ago
now retired....doing freelance nature photography. I am VP of the local Historical Society, volunteer, raise my own veggies and am content to sit back, have a stout and watch the sun set on the lake.
Happily married to my best friend, have a very close relationship with both my sons as well as my brother, all of whom I see regularly.
I still question authority and am happy to just dance through life.

ardian ad litem for abused children and performed legal research and analysis. I also did translations of legal documents for international adoptions;primarily South American adoptions. I am also a licensed pharmacy tech and and instructor for DBT therapy.(dialactical behavioral therapy). I speak conversational Irish, Norwegian and Spanish.
Retirement is grand, but I miss work!

Husband promoted and transferred to upstate NY...we have purchased a small farm and are settling in. Looking forward to a Long Island visit in spring.
Update: March 2014... Settled in to our new lives in rural NY..have been elected Town Judge, eldest son's wedding was held on our farm in August, I traveled to Sweden to visit family, adopted another dog from Great Pyrenees Rescue. Farm is growing...1 acre of vegetables and herbs, 1/2 acre of fruit trees, 3 goats, 3 dogs and 10 ducks. Life is good!
