gail's Story

After graduation I went to Santa Ana Jr. College and soon thereafter began my career in the Airline business. I worked for Sierra Pacific Airlines (served Mammoth Lakes Calif) until 1978 when I joined Trans World Airlines (TWA) in Los Angeles. In 1979 I transferred to TWA St Louis, offices where I discovered humidity (boy did I miss California weather!) and thankfully my future husband, Larry Curcuru (pronounced Kook-A-Roo). Larry and I married in St Louis in 1983 and moved to Kansas City MO where we lived for 8years. ed to Atlanta GA, where we spent the last 20years. Larry and I choose not to have children and were able travel the world for both business and personal.. Truly enjoying the journey. Early in 2011 we purchased our retirement home in The Villages FL, and in April of this year retired full time to Florida. We have also moved Larry’s parents and my Mum to The Villages My younger sister Heather (class of 1974) and her family live ‘near’ by (closer than California) in Jacksonville FL. Older sister Jan (class of 1970) continues to live in California..allowing me to call it Home. Loving and living the dream!
