Gail's Story
How can you write your life story in a paragraph? I now live back on Bowen Island. I have two grown daughters and a grand daughter. I haven't been married for 30 years and I have been employed for most of my life. I've had a few wonderful relationships, travelled a great deal and was able to build two houses on Bowen on my own... which gives me a sense of accomplishment. Italy about two weeks after finishing Grade 12 in 1971. There is a little Italian man in the middle. We had been hitchhiking and he was kind enough to put us up for the night at his home in Milan. The picture is of him taking us back the next morning to the free way one at a time to hitch hike north into Switzerland. About 10 days later we boarded a ship from South Hampton, England to South Africa. It was the most exciting time of my life.
