Persuaded otherwise discerning young woman to marry me. Stood by with mouth open as sons popped into existence. Changed baby diapers while writing doctoral dissertation. escape homelessness. Taught sociology, unleashing merry mayhem on campus. Lived in 6 states and on remote Lake Michigan island. Plowed fields, crewed on tall ship, roamed beaches and woods, and built stuff. Research and write social history. Read mysteries. Do carpentry. May need to rent some grandchildren.
