Gary Grimme:  

I am a true Key Rat, who grew up on Key Biscayne, Florida. In 1958, my dad joined the ABMC/NASA space team and we moved to Huntsville, Alabama, where we built a house on Monte Sano Mountain. I attended Blossomwood, 5th Avenue & Monte Sano Elementary schools, then Rison & Chapman Jr highs, then went onto Lee High School for 10th grade. In the summer of 1966, my dad left the space program and we moved to Orlando, FL, where he was with the Dept of the Navy. I spent my last 2 years of high school at Oak Ridge High School, where I graduated in 1968. I then spent a year at the University of Florida, then transferred back to college in Orlando, and attended Orlando Junior College, 1969-70, then transferred to Valencia Jr College, 1970-71.
