Gary's Story
Lived on Almont St in Mattapan. Went from Lewenberg to English High, "62. Then to UMAss Amherst, grad in "66. After college was in Peace Corps Nepal for 2 + years followed by travel through India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran & Turkey. Then to Israel on a kibbutz for few months.
After returning to US various jobs in hospitals, mental Health & social services then grad school at BU for MPH. Then many years as director of health services for DYS. Retired, living in Arlington & keep busy with gardening, some tr...Expand for more
avel & auditing courses at BU, mostly in History, International Relations & some Art & Literature.Have strong interest in South Asia & have been back to Nepal & India several times, including a visit in 1995 to village I lived in from 1967-69. That was an incredible reunion with old friends.
Recently visited with with Joan Goodman, also of Almont St which has rekindled my interest in reconnecting with former friends while I can still remember them. Look forward to hearing from friends of yesteryear.
