Gary's Story
Life
Currently, I'm a Retired Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army now living on Anderson Island, Washington. I was in the Army for 23 years, since my graduation from the University of Wisconsin in 1981. I was a Military Intelligence Officer while in the Army. I have lived and traveled to many countries around the World and in many states in the U.S.. with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force also located in Tacoma. I have 1 daughter named Sara(28yrs), who was in the Army as an Military Interrogator with the 101st Airborne Division. She deployed to Afghanistan in 2010/11. Since then she now lives in Virginia and has given birth to a daughter, my Granddaughter Makayla, now 20 months old! I recently went back to the Herscher/Kankakee area after attending a conference in Chicago and it was great to visit the old home town!
