Life In 1968 I went to Las Vegas on vacation. At the time, I was working at Allen bradley. My dad went there also, but later in the year. He knew I wanted to move there,so he checked it out. He had 4 wks. of vacation time, so he got a job working for Louie Prima at Fairway to the Stars Country Club. Louie told my dad that if he came back, he would have a job . So, in 1969, my parents and I moved to Las Vegas. In 1974, my dad passed away. In 1976 I got married. My husband was from South East Oklahoma (Choctaw Indian), and then from Torrance, California . I met him in 1971 in Las Vegas. In 1996, he died of a heart attack . My 2 sons from that marriage are 28 and 30 yrs. old. We bought a house in 1980, about 4 miles west of the strip. Both of us were in the gaming business. My husband was in dice, a craps dealer and a boxman . I dealt 21 and roulette. Since 2000 , I've been at home taking care of my mother, who is now 84 yrs old.
