Gayle's Story
After I graduated and put it a year at Junior College, I married George Reichardt (class of 1964). We were way too young and it only lasted a few years. We are still friends, however, and occasionally see each other.
In 1970, I married again (this time he was my sister Robin's (class of 1966) boyfriend. She continued to thank me until she passed away in 1994 from lung cancer.
Our son was born in 1978 while we were living in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1980, we moved to Florida and I am still here, although I have been divorced since 1997.
My son is a 4th grade school teacher for the Palm Beach County School system and is spending the summer in Cambodia...Expand for more
teaching English in an orphanage. He is engaged and will be married in October 2010.
I am retired after being a mortgage banker for the last 27 years. I miss being in the professional world, but I absolutely love not working and having a stress less life.
I live in Jupiter, Florida with my cat and dog. My brother and I own a 25 foot boat so boating and snorkeling are my week-ends. Anything that has to do with water, the Keys or the Bahamas are high on my list of things I love along with my 2 nephews that are the love of my life.
I am certainly going to make our 45th reunion (how did that happen? - 45 years!!) I would love to see all of you there!
