Gene's Story
Life
Life's story, eh? Well, I went to Dale School until 5th grade, then went to Trinity Luthern. I went to Webster Stanley for 9th grade, then moved north to Suring and G\graduated from there.
After graduation I went to then NWTC for a year. Married Anita Gardebrecht in 76, joined the Air Force in 77, was stationed in lower Michigan at Wurtsmith AFB, my daughter Wendy was born there, got out in 81 and went to UW-Oshkosh. Got divorced in 82, moved back to Suring and worked at Nu-Line. Got married (again)in 85 to Jackie Babicky, rejoined the Air Force and was stati...Expand for more
oned at Offutt AFB in Omaha, NE. Got out in 92 and bought the Hintz Tavern. Ran that until 96. Divorced again in 97 and moved to Waukesha and lived with Michele Babicky(ex sister in-law to Jackie) for a while, then moved back to Suring in 2002, got married AGAIN (last time for sure) to Linda Haure in 2003. I am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up, but for now I build boats at Cruisers Yachts in Oconto.
Update: I no longer build boats. I got laid off in Oct 08. I am going to ITT Tech now for computer programming. Maybe I can learn something!
