here was a 50th weddinig anniversary of cousins which I couldn't miss, after all.... There were around 60 people, some I recognized, some where new, all delightful. My daughter, Ruth, was stunned to see so much family she has never known, but she had taken a friend from here, and I had taken an old friend from NYC (now in TN) which all make the adaptations a bit easier and great fun. France was ever so gracious, tremendously clean (I remember Notre Dame as a somber facade, now nearly creamy white!), no bad wine, no bad food, no bad experiences, yes! Nantucket has been busy, me feeding tourists at the beach and construction fellas on their work sites, with glorious summer weather, but way down in tourism and buying ..... I wondered when the bubble would burst. Still intend to sell my business in the next few months when interested parties have time to talk again. I am now all set up with my big fat wide-format Epson printer, and fanatastic new Canon digital, and a monumentous learning curve ahead of me, then look out world (let's hope *_* ).
