Geoffrey (Scott)'s Story
Life
Everyone used to know me by my middle name, Scott, but I go by Geoffrey (my first name) now. I've lived in Indianapolis since 1967, and have been a musician (cellist) with the Indianapolis Symphony since 1972. I'm also a freelance author, having written educational videos (the last of which just received a TELLY Award), program notes for orchestras and CDs, and about children's literature. he New York Times and People magazine, and recently was featured in a (small) spot on the Today Show. I do volunteer work in the Courts as a CASA and Guardian ad Litem, helping out kids in at-risk situations. In the fall of 2002, I became certified by the Indiana Supreme Court to be a domestic relations mediator. Finally, I have a MAN in my life, so all of you that suspected that I was "that way" were right! PS ~ For the past two years, I've been the "official" Santa for downtown Indianapolis' holiday celebration. Ho - HO!!!
