George's Story

After graduating in 1954, went to East York High, but only stayed there for about 3 months and quit. Went to work for Loblaws for a while and than the C.P.R., quit there in 1957 to join the RCAF, served until 1967 and got out in 1967 in Edmonton. Flew for Pacific Western Airlines, Canadian Airlines and Aircanada until I retired in 2000. rlines in Toronto to come and work for them training up their new flight crews, did that for one year, but by than I'd had enough of being away from home, so I called it quits. I also hold a Transport Canada Engineers license and run my own business to this day. I do old aircraft restorations and inspections which keeps me busy. I now live outside of Edmonton, but I get back to Toronto often as my youngest son lives there and is a doctor in Scarborogh.
