George Nash Jr.:  

In his fine résumé of achievements, you will find George Nash Jr. in the role of producer and songwriter time and time again. One of George’s greatest pleasures was working with his cousin ERIC BENéT(Ba-Nay) on his critically aclaimed solo album”TRUE 2 MYSELF” for WARNER BROTHERS Records for which he co-produced, co-wrote, co-arranged 11 tracks with Eric and fellow talented keyboardist /music producer/songwriter Demonte Posey . Also, George worked on the sophmore album “A DAY IN THE LIFE” for WARNER BROTHERS Records for which he co-produced, co-wrote, arranged 3 tracks. George also was instrumental with Eric and his sister Lisa on their debut album BENéT (Ba-nay) for EMI Records for which he co-produced and co-wrote 7 tracks. Over the past several years George had the privilege of working with such well known artist and music producers as as Jeff Lorber, George Duke, Dave Koz, Paul Jackson Jr., Eric Marinthal, Peter Mokran, Bryan Loren.The last two years have been a very busy for George. He also recently completed producing and writing a couple of tracks on an album for jazz saxaphonist , Jimmy Sommers “James Cafe” which can current be heard on contemporary jazz stations around the country. George has a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing serving as a songwriter for them. To add to his list of credentials is the production of numerous artist demos which have been shopped for recording deals. His latest accomplishments include obtaining WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) award for being “Producer of the Year”. Also George attained an NAACP IMAGE AWARD for the song “Spend My Life With You”. Also, through his production work, ERIC BENéT was nominated for a GRAMMY for “Best R&B vocal performance for a duet or group” for the song “Spend My Life With You.” George also co-wrote and produced a song for ERIC BENéT a song for the movie “ All That Glitters” featuring MARIAH CAREY.Finally , George is currently working with ERIC BENéT as co-producer, co-arranger, co-writer on his 3rd album for WARNER BROTHERS Records.
