georgine's Story
I am living in La Maraa, Ca (just south of LA ten miles from Disnytland.) we came to CA in 1953. We moved from St. Paul to Eau Claire, WI and then on to CA. Our daughter and son were born in St. Pau. My husband, Fred was from New Ulm Mn. We were married 60 years,He passed away in 2007. We have three grandchildrenand five great granchildrem. Most of them on the Eat Coast, New Hampshire and North Carolina. Our son is here in La Mirada. Currently I am 'teaching' (leading is a more comfortable term) clas in Memoir writing at a Senior facility. It's an entertaining Saturday mornig. ossed over two sets of double lines to avoid all of the cars stopped for the red light. The end result is that I have limited walking ability. This condition is very frustrartin, for several years Fred and I would take groups back toWALK INN to INN in Vermont; included a wolkrin Boston, a NewEngland Lobster dinner and a walk in a town of 3000 in N H. I really miss the WALKING ! We had traeled the states visiting Historical sights and capitals. I am trying to dispose of some of our 2000 book library, and Fred's camera and record colletions; it is proving to be a bigger project than I had anticipated.I spend much time reading and corresponing with friends aross the country.
