gerald's Story
After graduation I kicked around awhile and tried to find work.
But there was just nothing there for me.
I decided to enlist into the Army and oddly enough on the very day of my enlistment I received my draft notice.
The Army was from 1972 to Jan 1979, my career field was 63 B Wheel Vehicle Mechanic.
Then Sept 1979 i enlisted in to the Navy and my job choi...Expand for more
ce changed from mechanic to US Navy Hospital Corpsman.
Much more interesting and fulfilling I loved my job.
Then Aug 1990 I deployed for Desert Storm .
I deployed attached to 3rd Assault Amphibious Battallion Charlie Company from Camp Pendleton Ca.
I retired with Twenty Years in 1993 and have since worked different jobs.
Presently Im a a long haul trucker.
