Gerald's Story
I graduated from University of California at Berkeley in 2000 with a BA degree in History of Art. After graduating from college I backpacked alone to Europe where I visited cities London, Paris, Brussels, Madrid, Barcelona, and Amsterdam. That trip had a profound influence on me as one of my hobbies is traveling. I attended 3 FIFA World Cups: Japan (2002), Germany (2006), and South Africa (2010). raduate of James Logan High who graduated in 1996. Who wouldâve thought? My favorite international cities are Barcelona, Cape Town, and Amsterdam; my favorite country is Italy. The most inspirational site I visited was Robben Island off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. I volunteered in several political campaigns involving local, state, and national races. My next goal is to apply to grad school to an MBA program with an emphasis in business public policy and where I can study abroad for a semester.
