Geri's Story
Life
I left for the Army right after high school. I spent 15 years there and during those years I got married and divorced (no regrets) and had 2 handsome boys. I also had the pleasure of serving in Desert Storm which I actually enjoyed. I left the military because it was no longer interesting to me and now I'm a Sr. Technial Analyst for Marriott Int'l. All I can say is "Life is good and I wouldn't change a thing!!"
School
In high school, I had a crush on Robert Powell, but who didn't. Mrs. Olds inspired me the most. She really knew the medical field and she definitely knew more than Mrs. Greenwood. I remember people mistaking me for her and vice versa. High...Expand for more
school was a interesting time and I would NEVER want to do it again. My happiest moment was winning 1st runner up in the Ms. Howard Pageant. I probably was more surprised than anyone. I miss hanging out with Theresa Nichols and Amanda Marshall. And Kelly Wallace in biology class. I miss Jerry Kane and Robert Green's smile. Mr. Gilley's bi-ceps and listening to music from Communications over the intercom in shop class.
Military
I miss my first best friend in the military, Donna Hammond. She and I were probably the shortest females in basic training. I remember staring at my drill sergeant Michael Taylor's butt to keep my mind of the pain during long road marches.
