Gil's Story
Life
Status: Married (second Time) and have three Great kids. Gilbert III age 24 and Vanessa who just turned 21 were a result from marriage #1 with Carol. Just added #3 Mackenzie who was born 1 / 31 / 03... some say I'm nuts, but I love being a Dad. One of lifeÂs true pleasures is being able to stand back and watch them grow into adults ( they all are not there yet but going strong)
As for married life, "So I was a slow learner" It truly is great to enjoy life with your best friend. Susie is the best-spirited person I have ever had the pleasure to know. We are truly best friends and pretty much never argue so life is Goooooooood!
I knew it was possible to have a great relationship! It just took 40 or so of them to find the right one and someone who would put up with me, my quirks and my sense of humor
as well as the other ten personalities that pop up from time to time! (lol)
On the professional front, I never did go back to school. I'm sure that many of you remember that Teachers and I didn't exact...Expand for more
ly get along! So I married one... Go figure? She works with the Blind / visually impaired and some say the Handicapped as well that being(me)
In 1991 I switched Professions and left the Lithography Field where I was A Pressman at a major firm. I then went to work with my Cousin in the Automotive Industry (Transmission Re-manufacturing). Since 1990 we built a small business into a substantial entity and have become one of the nations leading suppliers of after-market Transmissions for Honda and Acura Automobiles. We have since Incorporated and provide Transmissions for the Honda care extended warranty program. What started as three guys having some fun has become 50+ people making some noise in the business world. I am currently the Vice President and am in charge of sales and marketing. I am currently moving toward semi retirement, It's time to play.......
