Ginger's Story
Well you want to know who I am.... Looking back to high school wow how times change and we all evolve we hope anyway. All the mistakes made in High School, we can laugh about now.... You know when I screwed things up I did it great and when I suceeded I did it great too. hmmm makes me an extremist I guess. Well I went to Heavener High until the middle of my Senior year when I ran away (another extreme moment) and moved to Wilburton to finish my Senior year with my grandmother. I graduated with honors and scholarships went to college as a cheerleader at East Central in Wilburton and got runner up in the Miss EOSC (extreme perhaps)... then quit school and got married (hmmm welcome to adult life and another extreme moment?). Partied and moved around with that 1st husband until there was nothing left of that relationship.... I joined the Army (wow, what the hell?), went to Germany and Desert Storm (what a ride and wouldn't trade that time for anything), Came home persued my degree at NSU in Tahlequah (pattern good, bad, good, bad). nd was expecting the second when graduated with a business degree. Moved to Texas. Taught High School Business in Ft Worth and Pittsburg Texas (Did I mention I was a cheerleading coach). I was in the classroom on 9/11. Hubby Joined the Army went to Iraq and lost his leg and much more just 30 days from coming home on his year deployment in '05. now we are Back in Oklahoma and living the farmers life (farmer... wow far from that dream of business and accounting)... we have cows, horses, chickens, and I raise dogs. We have 117 acres and enjoying it... except getting mauled by a cow last October and thrown from a horse today... woo hoo the life. I came here as I was stuck sitting, as my tailbone must recover, and reminiscing about old times and wondering where everyone is and how life has dealt them. So I looked everyone I could up with reunion days (oh I mean culture diversity days????) this coming weekend. I can't make it home this year but in hopes for my 20 years (wow where does the time go).
