After high school I went straight to University. I should have taken some time off. The first few years of university were great and then I started to rebel. Partied more than I should have and effected my grades and outlook. I was working in an Accounting firm at the same time and I became bored. I got my bachelors degree and somehow maintained a low B average. It was time to see the world. I travel around Western Europe and the Greek Islands. I met my girlfriend there and we got married a few years later. I stayed in the accounting industry but began working as a controller and slowly moved up the ranks until I was a controller of a large group of companies. Each new company I worked for typically had accounting software issues and over time I became proficient at implementing new accounting systems. I decided at that point that accounting was pretty routine and that I enjoyed the technology aspects more.
