Glenn's Story

Actually, I did not graduate from Lawrenceville. I went to Lawrenceville (Brunswick) Elementary School all my chilhood years and then we moved to Roanoke Rapids, N>C> after my dad was transferred at his job. We lived in a small house on second avenue right down from the school . I had two brothers, Chuck, who has passed away now and Hugh, who is still alive. We have many happy memories of Lawrenceville, Va. such as Saturday afternoon movies, the "red hill" Mr. Mitchell's grocery store, the ...Expand for more
same sweet teachers at Lawrenceville Elementary School for years---Miss Laura, Ms. Black, Ms. Simmons, Ms. Mitchell, Ms. Robinson. Oh, what a lovely little town to g up in. I now live in Jamestown, N.C. (near Greensboro, N.C.) with my husband, Joe. I have two grown children and a grandson. We are retired now and love to fish. We have our own garden and love country living. Get in touch if you recognize any of the names I mentioned. I love the past; I feel it is such a big part of everyone. Glenn

At least I got to pick out the color hard cast I desired today. I was hoping I wouldn't have to get it, but no such luck. At least the doctor says the new x-rays don't seem to indicate that I'll need surgery---just the r
I'm so glad our grandson got to meet Hugh. Caleb and Houston seemed to "click".
DADDY WAS HANDSOME WHEN HE WAS YOUNG AND EVEN MORE HANDSOME EVERY YEAR. TO ME HE WAS NUMBER ONE AS A FATHER AND EVERY OTHER ASPECT OR LIFE. HE PASSED AWAY WAY TOO YOUNG, BUT I AM THANKFUL FOR THE YEARS I HAD HIM HERE TO G
