Glenn's Story
After graduating from North I went to Peru St. College where I played varsity football for 4 years, two as a starter and am in their athletic hall of fame as a member of the 1980 team. After college I had a couple of failed NFL tryouts and ended up in Texas where I was married to my longtime girlfriend Diane whom I met on a blind date while in college. We lived in Bryan Tx for 10 years where our sons Ryan and Mark were born. We moved to Tucson Az in 1993 and is where we live presently. My wife Diane, a St. Alberts girl, has been a RN surgical nurse for nearly 25 years with an additional 8 in labor and delivery. I have been in the irrigation industry most of my life and have my own business of 13 ...Expand for more
years: A-1 Backflow & Reclaimed Site Testing. My oldest son Ryan is currently serving in the Navy on board the aircraft carrier George S. Washington and my youngest son Mark is the kitchen manager at Thunder Canyon Brewerey a local brew pub. Since leaving High School and college I have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Mexico. I love the outdoors, mountains, rivers, lakes, beaches, fishing, hiking, and singing at bonfires. I am currently working on a book about my experiences growing up in North Omaha and may be contacting some of you periodically to clarify certain events and also to get permission to use your name(s) if you wish to be included.
