Glenn's Story
After graduation from Federal Way High School, I served a 4 year active duty enlistment in the USAF. I was stationed in Texas, Colorado, and Washington state. I worked as a Jet Engine Mechanic on the C-141 and C-5 aircraft. During my enlistment I did attend Piece College full time and earned my Associate degree. The same time I did earn another Associate degree through the Air Force. Upon the completion of my enlistment , I transferred as a junior to Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. I attended there from September 1981 through June 1983. I received my Bachelors degree in Business Administration. After my graduation I did return to the Seattle area. I did work at several places after graduation. The economy back around 1983-1984 was not very good at that time. Needless to say that I did not find my dream job at that time. Of all places of employment, I ended up of all places working at the USPS as a mail letter carrier. I did end up working there 35 years before retiring in early March 2021. d enough of the craziness and lawlessness that was going on. It was a breath of fresh air for us. I have traveled extensively during my time active duty in the USAF. I have been very fortunate to have been able to travel extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico; including Baja California. I have been to England, and Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.. I have considered myself very blessed to have been able to spend time in Israel 🇮🇱 to live there for a time. I was able to see the neighboring countries of Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan. I have been a Christian believer since September 1981. My wife was originally from Romania. We met at the Beit Tikvah congregation. When I finally retired from Federal Government service counting my active duty military service time; it came to just under 40 years of service. My wife and Myself , we are
enjoying retirement here. We go over to Minnesota a lot and on occasion head up to Winnipeg and explore Manitoba and Western Ontario.
I have lived very rich, blessed life and I am very thankful and grateful for all the blessings that the good Lord has bestowed upon us .
