Gloria's Story

Gloria is from Conway, S.C.; but has lived in Laurel, Maryland since 1993. Gloria's schools include Whittemore High School; a Bulldog graduate from the class of 1968 . Gloria later attended Morris College. I endured three bad marriages, before God gave me my best friend. Gloria retired from the United States Army in 1998, after twenty-one years. Gloria taught English in Maryland for several years for grades nine-twelve before taking life easy. h residents, reading my poetry or just conversing. I am happily married to my soul mate; we celebrated our 25th Anniversary on 28 February 2015. I am looking forward to embracing my big birthday in June when I plan to celebrate like it is 1999. Each day I wake, "I thank God for all the tribulations my life has endured in order for me to be in a place of peace today." I enjoy being pampered by my best friend (my husband), writing poetry and short stories, and spending time with family, friends, and my grand children. I am truly Blessed.
