Gokhan's Story
Hello everybody,
This definitely feels like ancient history. It really is a strange feeling knowing that its 33 years in the past but a few moments still feel just like now.
I had to move to Athens with my family from Turkey as my dad was a diplomat. I was 16 years old and I had to go to a school but knew no English at all. My parents decided to send me to Campion thru some advise coming from some other people I was obviously in no position to decide and pick a school or even run back to Turkey as everything seemed so...Expand for more
alien at first and add on top of that the big language barrier. So anyway, to cut the long story short; my first day at school was a shock and following a few months were more traumatic as you cannot understand anybody and cannot express yourself at all. A total lack of communication with the physical reality. I even begged my parents to take me off the school and send me back........until that moment of that day I never forgot my whole life.
So, I am here to share that moment with that special person I never forgot.
