Gordon's Story
Well, after a couple of years at U.N.O., I headed out to California and became a logger. That was probably one of the funnest jobs I ever have had. With that company, I did fight the huge forest fire in Yellowstone in 1988. In 89, I came back to Omaha and spent a little more time there than I would have liked. I finished college and I studied for the air traffic control exam (and got accepted), but ended up staying in Omaha to sell real estate and run a construction company. er to her job in Woodland Park Colorado. We stuck it out for 4 years, but you know how it is. Ended up taking a superintendant job in Steamboat Springs Colorado in 06. But soon after that, I went on to build spec houses just south of Steamboat. But then, got involved with the Bridgestone Winter Driving School as the Track Manager. I get to hang with all sorts of professional drivers from all over the world as we teach winter driving skills from braking to full on high performance winter driving. Oh hell yeah it's fun.
