Graham's Story

Life UPDATE Someone may remember me as the kid that lived in the house that looked like a barn right beside the school. I only attended FDR for a couple of years, nothing really jumps out as memorable, except as I sit here I remember a red headed kid by the name of Terry P.(no last name for privacy)anyway, one day out at the ball diamond he came up behind me and for no reason kicked my legs out from under me. In those days I wore those old solid plastic frame glasses with the hard nose pieces. I litterally landed flat on my face and the nose piece made a deep gash over my right eye. I was knocked senseless for a while and when I finally got up, blood was gushing down my face. I still carry that scar to this day. Ahhh, schooldays! ALso, back then there were a couple of girls that I had a big crush on. Their names are...a secret, just like all those years ago, I'll never tell. I've been married for 27 yrs. (yes, to the same woman) two girls all grown up. My eldest is finishing Teachers College up in Ottawa at (where else) U. of O. and my youngest is in her first year at U.W.O. I think she is leaning towrds writing or the stage, but 1st year....who knows? I'm still living in London(south), working in St. Thomas at t...Expand for more
he same place for almost 16yrs. Some of you may remember me flying around Fanshawe College on a bright green mini bike, well I've always been a nut when it comes to anything on two wheels. So, for the last three years I've been racing Vintage motorcycles with a club called the VRRA and an orginization called R.A.C.E.. I ride a 1972 Honda 350 that is fully race spec'd and puts out approximately 42 horse at the rear wheel. Well the 2008 season in racing may be a miss for me, with rotating layoffs, and a blown engine at the end of last season money has other priorities. I promised my wife that I would only compete if I could do it with cash in hand, so unless things change drastically or a few sponsors pop up out of the blue the racing will be on hold for this year at least. So that's me, if you know me say hi and for those that have read this, why not take a few minutes and let the rest of us know what you are up to. I'm still amazed at how many people are shown on this site and when you click on their names it's just a bunch of blank boxes. So come on, you don't have to write your lifes story, just a few lines to let some of your long lost "classmates" know how you're doing. All the best for the Holidays, Graham.
