AN UPDATE--This website is a bit harsh with some of it's functions! I was born in Houston,TX but have spent most of my younger life in Schulenburg, TX. Graduated from SHS in 1974. Attended college at Texas Tech University '87, Blinn College-Brenham Campus and College Station, TX. Transferred to Texas A&M University. Joined the USN in 1985. Attended the Defense Information School/ DINFOS ( U. S. All Forces college for Journalism/Photojournalism, Public Relations and Mass Communications. I graduated from DINFOS and was sent out to the USN fleet serving in public relation duties aboard ship and naval bases/stations. After the Navy most of my career has been in Senior Retail Management(eg. Wal-Mart, INC.) and later private healthcare. I have been living/working across the U.S. and have been back in Texas since 1990, Living in the Houston area and later settling in Bryan-College Station, TX was a rewarding challenge. Living in College Station was great since I am an avid AGGIE FAN!! "WHOOP & FARMERS FIGHT"!! After my mother's death in 2007, I relocated back to the Schulenburg area but left the state in late 2011. I stayed with some friends in Arkansas for about four months, then moved to the Norfolk-Virginia Beach area (Commonwealth of Virginia). I am living presently in Norfolk, VA. I hope to retire in this great part of the country!! When I was in the Navy I was based out of Norfolk and always remembered the 'sweet' climate and great location full of national history. The weather up here is GRAND and the Virginia/North Carolina shore is beautiful...I LOVE the OCEAN~~Loads of fun and again...NO HOT Texas weather! The heat spells up here are about four days in the lower 90's then back to mid-80's. The winters are mild as well but you do have 4 SEASONS~~NICE!!
