Navy OCS- as OCSA- Graduated/commissioned Ensign June 1962- USS Chewaucan (AOG-50)1962-1965- Communications Officer, then Operations Officer as LTJG, Navigator, Acting XO- service in Atlantic, Mediterranean, Carribean- active during Cuban Missle Crisis//U. of Pennsylvania NROTC Unit 1965-1968- Asst. Professor of Naval Science as LT-Freshmen/ Midshipmen 4/c Instructor//Released from ACDU 1968 to go full time to Wharton Grad school- Active Navy Reserves 1968 to 1978- Various Reserve units- Commandin Offcier of 2 different TelComm Units as LCDR//Promoted to CDR- had to leave active Reserves due to work demands and children's school schedules.
