I was a happy kid and then I graduated from DHHS, then Dekalb Junior College '66 (extension of high school), GA Tech '69 (tough!), drafted '70, ROTC '70, Army Lieutenant Air Defense Artillery '72-;80, grad from Tech aerospace engineer, but worked as mechanical engineer '72, later added moonlighting as forensic engineer '90, husband '70, dad '73 & '77, 3/1 brick 1950 home (Decatur) '75, 3/2 brick ranch '79 (Stone Mountain), dad again '84 after tubal ligation! (no girls in family would sit next to me after that), that 3/2 brick ranch became 4/3 brick ranch for the 3rd kid (what a blessing!), built brick 3-story dream home '89 in Snellville (more room for teenagers, big $$$ mistake), divorced '02, fired '02, bankrupt '03, dated again '03, oldie-wed: married my beautiful soulmate '05 , honeymooned in Italy, new family with daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, 1895 farmhouse (Alpharetta), lost job '10 so we went to Hawaii with all the Delta FF miles (what me worry?), learned about 4 generations of Dahlonega family history 1799-1908, WWII history buff (many books still to read), read lots about the war of northern aggression, best jobs: Lockwood Greene Engineers '77, fist supervisor job '80, 39 plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC engineers (like herding cats!) much later Ft.
