Heather's Story
About me:
Heather-Anne Burwell is the Owner and Managing Partner of The Reed Consulting Group. Since starting the company in 2009, Heather has consulted with clients in the retail, financial services, hospitality, non-profit, government and educational industries.
Prior to joining The Reed Consulting Group, Heather worked for Gallup and consulted with clients on using Human Sigma, strengths-based development, leadership development, employee selection, and employee and customer engagement to enhance management practices to promote effective business outcomes. While with Gallup she worked with clients in the financial services, retail industries health care, manufacturing, medical devices, automotive, government and education.
Heather also has an extensive background in retail management. She was an Area Manager for a specialty retail chain and served as a Vice President and as a Director of Store Operations for a specialty retail chains. She has also worked for a U.S. Senator and a Congressman.

ters degree in Organizational Leadership from the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. She is currently an adjunct professor at Bellevue University. She has published several research studies & articles on leadership and organizational development.
Heather has been an active member of DECA, an international association for market students, and has served on the board of directors and as chairperson of the Business Partnership Network. She received recognition as a DECA Award of Merit recipient in 2005 and as an Outstanding Business Partner in 2006. She is also a member of the Superintendent¿s Advisory Committee for Millard Public Schools. Heather is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts having earned both her Gold and Silver award as well as being named 2001 Outstanding Volunteer. Heather serves on the board of directors for Camp Bobe Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.
Heather is also a classically trained soprano. She and has performed at Carnegie Hall in 2006 and twice at the Vatican in Rome in 2008. She will be returning to Carnegie Hall in 2009 and Rome in 2010.
