Heather's Story

Life My Kids Wow..this really needed updating! It said Charles was 8, well now he is 13 and going into 8th grade--and yes, he's way taller than me...5'10" already and wearing a size 13 shoe! I have 2 more kids now, Jaedon and Jocelyn...4 and 1. My Job I'm still working at Ditech...nothing new there... School Biggest crush? Hmmm...I know that instantly, but will keep that to myself... Inspirational teacher? Crazy, but Mrs. Thrane in 8th grade...she was tough, but challenged us in ways other teachers didn't. I think I developed my interest in art through her classes and all our trips to the Getty and other museums. Do it all over? Probably--I had a lot of fun in school...I had great friends, who I still communicate with today, and I was truly blessed to come through life okay given some of the circumstances I was working with. Funniest memory? Had to be the egg war with the "Gocks" as we called them...stringing and forking their ho...Expand for more
uses and cars... Happiest memory? Anything that was cheerleading related--it gave me something to focus on and be a part of...I had so much fun and have great memories and friends from it. Craziest memory? Too many to count, with my girls Marisa, Sierra, Letty, and Julie. My senior year I had those crazy times with Leanne (aka Puni)... College I went to DeVry first for Telecommunications, then changed my mind about my career after working with Pac Bell. Ended up going to Mt. SAC to work on my general ed and figure out what I wanted to do. Started studying Art and transferred to University of La Verne where I graduated in 2000 with my B.A. in Art/Design. Started working for a mortgage company and have been there ever since... Best memories of college were with my sorority, Sigma Kappa. Workplace Most of my jobs until now were in Advertising/Marketing/Sales...I ended up in the mortgage industry and that has been my career for almost 6 years now.
