Hector's Story
Life
I was first a lab tech then worked in other areas of the hospital in Beaufort until I went to Vietnam in 1970. I stayed in the Navy for 10 years and got out to finish Medical School. I am now married and live in California where I practice Occupational Medicine
College
Graduated with BA in Biology from Inter American University of Puerto Rico (Hato Rey) in 1977. Graduated MD from UCCEM, Puerto Rico 1982.
Military

p in Great Lakes and Lab school in Portsmouth. Utilization tour at Naval Hosp. Beaufort, SC which was the most fun assignment of all. Vietnam for 4 months and then Camp Pendleton, CA. Naval hospital Charleston, SC and then Naval Hosp. Rooosevelt Roads, PR. Final assignment in navy, NRMC Philadelphia, PA. After Medical School, served 3 yrs. to repay scholarship as a doctor at Walson Army hosp., Fort Dix, NJ. Retired as LTC from reserves in 1997.
