Heidi's Story
College
I went to Shenandoah University my freshmen year. I decided it was too small. My grades weren't good enough to transfer so I went to NOVA for a year.
I did an internship for Congressman Alan Mollohan of West Virginia. I was able to do that through NOVA. One of the best experiences of my life. That really sparked my interest in politics.

d in Political Science. I absolutely loved it at JMU. I got involved with the Catholic Campus Ministry. I became a Eucharistic Minister.
I got involved with JMU College Democrats. I helped Mark Warner campaign in the fall of 2001. I helped register voters and get out the vote programs. I became secretary of the College Democrats at some point. I graduated from JMU in May of 2002 with my BA in political science.
