Helane's Story
Hello old friends!
How are you? It is amazing to think that each of us has either reached the beginning of his/her seventh decade, or is about to do so. Time seems to be moving very quickly now, doesn't it?
So here is my life, in brief: I am the mother of three, and grandmother of two. Being a grandma is the best job in the world--so many of the joys of parenthood with a lot fewer of the stressors. i have been an attorney at the same firm for 35 years now. lgebra with Mr Daly (much as I hated math) since I do a lot of work with evaluating and measuring property and solving ratios. Sounds like lots of yucks, doesn't it? Actually, I love my job and it is hard to believe that sometime in the not too distant future I will have to start thinking about retirement.
I hope that life has been kind to each of you. Life is much more complicated than we ever anticipated when we were in high school, but I suspect that it has been a very interesting journey for all of us. Now it is your turn to share a bit of your story with your classmates. We may not have all been friends or even known one another in high school, but attending school together--at Mountain High, in the early 1970's--was a unique experience shared by only 360 people, and that creates a special bond among us.
