henry's Story
After leaving South High, I joined the United States Air Force. I served almost ten years in various parts of the country, New Hampshire (Pease AFB), Nebraska (Offut AFB-Headquarters Strategic Air command) and Thailand (Korat AFB), working for the Armed Forces Thailand Network radio station. After leaving the Air Force I moved to California to be with the Thai Band I helped send to the United States when I was stationed in Thailand. This band was the best band around. everal years I took a job with Money Recovery of Michigan Collection agency and was there for over five and a half years. I had the opportunity to go to work for Foremost Insurance Company (Now Farmers Insurance) and retired from there after twenty five years.
I have a wonderful wife of 39 years and two wonderful kids who currently work at Farmers Insurance Company and are very successful.
I keep busy in my retirement doing the things I enjoy doing and being available to help out my friends when needed as well as keeping involved with my Church, Georgetown Grace Church in Hudsonville.
