Holly Ann's Story

I'm still working as a lawyer because I enjoy it. It's different when you work for yourself. I don't have the same compulsion to count down to retirement. I've been partners with Connie den Hollander for over 16 years as "Knott den Hollander". We have two other women lawyers with us: Hannah R. Zip and Candace K. N. eep people out of court, and we encourage Collaborative Practice to create solutions. My husband, Jim Spinney, and I have 2 children, both in town. Our married son (a C.A. like his dad) has 2 children. Jim and I destroyed our house July 2015 and we are rebuilding as a Certified Passive House (see Canadian Passive House Institute) and a duplex, so we will sell one side. I was on Saskatoon CBC radio with our builder Nov. 20 talking about it and we've heard from lots of people who are interested in the concept.
