Life
In June of 1956 I enrolled on the four year apprenticeship program at Kelly AFB and graduated in 1960 as a sheet Metal Aircraft Mechanic journeyman; worked for 15 years and then transferred to Workload Scheduling in later years and retired as a Master Scheduler with 37 yrs of service; worked for CACI as a Logistician during the base closure and retired in 1999; was elected President and board chairman of the Society of St Vincent de Paul Archdiocesan Council, a corporation of 75 Conferences across South Texas with over 2,000 members. nd traveled the country for six years attending conventions until the end of my term October of 2006. I am presently involved with the restoration of the Basilica of the Little Flower Church here in San Antonio. I married Annie Arias (she attended Ursuline Academy) in March 1959, have three children and have been married to her ever since. Without much guidance from my parents I chose to take Engineering Drafting, as my vocation, during my three years at Tech High and now I am happy with that decision and proud to be a member of the class of 1956.
